Welcome to The Graham Historical Society website.  As you can see, we are stepping into the 21st Century in our efforts to preserve the past.  By doing so, we are hoping to increase membership and awareness of our mission.  We need members who will attend the meetings and join in the work that has to be done.  We need people with new ideas, and new outlooks for better prosperity.  We need YOU!

Nestled in the valley below beautiful East River Mountain and on the grounds of the  imposing Sanders House, our cozy little visitor center welcomed 737 visitors during the year of 2004!  Our visitors came from thirty-five states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Germany and Russia.  We’ve been complimented many times on our facilities, our location and our friendliness. If you would like to donate items for the shop, please call Norma Davis at 276-322-3054, or Barbara Bates at 276-322-2823. “Vicie’s” will be open during tours of the house, and on a regular schedule during the Summer months.
